Why London Sound Experience?

The London Sound Experience is a three day intensive master class which focuses closely on the processes of mixing music. There are plenty of more or less serious sound engineering courses and Pro Tools courses around, but they all lack in opportunities for students to experience a mixing session in a real, commercial studio. The London Sound Experience sound engineering course has been created to bridge that gap, providing for producers and mixing engineers a much more thorough understanding of how the mixing process works.

Why Mixing?

In today's music production the mixing phase has become absolutely crucial, allowing sound engineers to be very creative and to contribute to the shaping of the finished musical product. Through the use of modern music production and sound engineering techniques, including automation and software editing, a mixing engineer is able to shape a song whatever way the client wants it. Therefore, a solid understanding of the process is paramount in today's music industry, whether it takes place in a home studio or a professional, commercial environment.

Where?

One of the real benefits of the London Sound Experience mixing master class is that it takes place in a professional London studio. There is no fixed location for all the courses - you may find yourself in Abbey Road, in Miloco Alpha Centauri, or in Sphere. The location for each master class will be finalised two months ahead of the scheduled dates, allowing participants from throughout the UK and elsewhere to plan their travel arrangements.

When?

Due to the unique nature of the master class, dates will be publicised online once a minimum of four students have signed up for that particular course. A professional studio will then be booked, ensuring plenty of space for the number of participants.

How much?

The full three days of the London Sound Experience master class only cost £750.
